French music all weekend

 

LE BON TRUC will be busy September 21 AND 22!

Saturday, September 21 we will help Portersfield Cider celebrate Open Winery Day with an afternoon of French music. Here is their Facebook post:

“This year’s Open Winery Day is coming right up! Please mark your calendars for a visit to our farm on Saturday, Sept 21 from 1-5:30. In the two years we’ve participated in this statewide event, sponsored by the Maine Wine Guild, it’s become a very popular kickoff to the apple season. Last year we estimate at least 350 people visited to taste our ciders paired with a variety of foods like smoked fish, mediterranean platters, and local cheeses. This year once again we’ll share new ciders and an array of favorite foods from Maine producers. We’ll also welcome back local trio Le Bon Truc to play traditional French country music from 2-4, and we’ll bring out the cider press to sample a variety of heirloom apples from our orchard.
